Ginny and Georgia. The show is about a teenage biracial girl, Ginny, who moves to a small New England town with her half-brother and mother, Georgia, after being on the run for most of her life. In true Gilmore Girls fashion, Georgia had Ginny when she was 15 causing her to still be a child at heart and leaving Ginny to take the mature role of the duo. At first, the show starts off kinda slow but by the end of the first episode, you begin the see the show isn't as unsuspecting or innocent as it seems. The show deals with major topics like feminism, racism, and other mainstream social matters occurring right now, especially in our generation. I haven't finished the entire first season yet, but so far it is a pretty good watch.
