I’m not really sure what to blog about this week, so I would like to ask you guys a question: What’s one thing that has made you really happy recently?

Hey Adriana, thanks for asking :) Like I said under Erica's music recommendations post, I've been expanded my taste a little bit, so I'd have to say my new playlist is what's been making me excited lately. I had one big one that was a mix of all kinds of songs, but I found myself skipping a bunch to get to a certain song, so I made a smaller playlist with my "feel good" songs. So that's what I've been listening to lately so that I don't have to skip around as much. I found a new band, Waterparks, that I'm trying to figure out if I like or not. They have a couple songs I really enjoy, but I didn't care for a lot of the others. I've noticed that I don't really like specific bands, just certain songs. Like some of my favorite songs are by bands that I've never heard any other songs by. I just find that interesting, my music taste is a mix of everything and I don't know half of the bands I listen to.
This is such a cute question, Adriana! This is going to sound a bit silly, but it would have to be earlier today when I received a 100 on my recent math quiz. I am not the best at math and it doesn't help that we have a new teacher (who's great btw) who has a completely different teaching style compared to our last one. I was super nervous and was SO relieved when I saw my grade. Oh, and shout out to Hunter for helping me prepare for this quiz (even though he deserves no recognition for MY hard work 🙄).
aw, i really, really love this idea adriana. honestly, my weekends and time with my friend have been making me the happiest. i think more recently, i have felt the most happiness just surrounded by the people i love, as simple as that sounds. like yesterday, i did online school with rachel. we got puccinos which is my newest obsession and listened to most of beyonce's entire discography so it was undoubtedly a great time. i got home and hung out with my friend olivia who means the absolute world to me. i am convinced were the same person in two different bodies so i spend seemingly everyday with her after school. i also went to my boyfriend's house and facetimed my favorite person in the whole world, lilly williams, because she tragically lives in the chicago suburbs. i don't know, it was such a simple day but i felt so much joy. i feel really grateful. and like today, one of my best friends erin came to visit me from lafayette. she used to be my babysitter and i was just a bridesmaid in her wedding actually, so it's been a full circle moment. she's like my self-proclaimed big sister and her advice has been much, much needed recently. so yea, now i'm on the way to olivias and we'll see where the night takes me. anyway, i basically just gave you a little rundown of my friday and saturday, but everyone i mentioned and these soon to be memories have made me happy amongst so much chaos.
