So I finished the surprise...it's a tiktok.
I mentioned it was a trend a while back. I'm not even sure if you can see it, but I didn't want to post it online without permission. If you can't see it, I might have to post it for like a week so everyone can watch it. It spent like an hour doing this, so even though it isn't the best, I tried.

Rikki! This video is so thoughtful. Thank you so much for spending the time and effort to make it for all of us. Everyone looks so cute and adorable in their pictures. I wonder if we'll think we look like babies in a few years... I knew a few of the songs but not all of them, so I might have to go look them up. Maybe I'll even make an "English class Tik Tok" playlist to listen to. Who knows? Maybe after a while I will start to associate the songs with our classmates. It can even be a little memento of y'all when we all scatter into college, never to be the AP English IV class of 2021 ever again... On a more cheerful notes—future me, if you're scouring the blog to try and find this video, I hope you succeed and look back on these times with fond memories. Future classmates, I hope you do the same. Since we just read Underground Notes, I think it is fitting to say that none of us ever want to become as embittered as spiteful and the Underground Man. Instead, we should all live above the surface, enjoy the sun, and live our lives as happily as we can. I know we've all been saying, "What? We're seniors?" this whole year, but I think the future is really starting to dawn. I know several people who have already committed to their dream schools, and I am so excited to see where the wind will carry all of us. Yeah, this year wasn't what we thought it would be. And it almost certainly won't finish like we thought was possible at the beginning of the year. I really want to appreciate these last few months with all of you amazing people, not wish things were different. I hope to grow closer with y'all, because I've realized with just a few conversations how wonderful each of y'all are. I don't really know why this Tok Tok video prompted all this thinking of the future, but thank you once again, Rikki.
