I have always been a fan of the Harry Potter books. I think JK Rowling, although she may not be best person, did an amazing job with the series, truly making it an entire world where you can escape and remind yourself of the goodness that still exists in the world. I have ever have always been upset with her description of Harry Potter, the main character. Being a sucker for romance is, I have always found it very hard to envision Harry Potter as an attractive main character. Any person who’s read the book or even watch the movies would know that Henry happens to be the shortest male character throughout the entire series. To make matters worse he is known to have a thin phase, knobby knees, and wear thick round glasses. Not that these aspects are unattractive in the slightest but I foundIt’s very disappointing that J. K. Rowling made his bully more attractive if not the most attractive character in the book. J. K. Rowling has expressed her distaste for the main pulley and Harry’s life, Draco Malfoy, who is described to have blonde hair gray eyes and a slightly athletic figure, if I remember precisely, yet continues to make him this attractive bad boy persona that many girls as seen on TickTock have fallen for. Endpoint: I am watching Harry Potter tonight.

I never read the books, but even I can see that Draco was a much more attractive character than Harry ever was. He has that tortured, bad boy appeal to him that draws someone in. Maybe that's just my type, but I know a lot of people find that much more attractive than your average "good guy" that Harry is. Even watching the movies recently, Harry just didn't have much going for him. He was always in danger, like you said, short, a bit clumsy in his approaches with girls, etc. Honestly, Ron was better with the ladies than Harry was; he at least had 2 girls almost fighting over him. Draco starts as being this annoying little brat in the first couple of books, but becomes the attractive, bad boy later on that most girls, like you mentioned on Tiktok, can't help but fall for. He is viewed as this broken character that really didn't have a choice, and I really found that aspect the most appealing; Harry was deemed the "chosen one" but Draco really didn't have a choice in stepping up as the male figure of his house when his dad went to jail. All that being said, you know I've only watched the movies and don't know how he's portrayed in the books, but the movies really make him a very attractive character. We really can't help but love the bad boys.
Guys don't forget about NEVILLE! In my opinion he's the most attractive guy in Harry's year - especially when we remember how adorably chubby and timid he was as a first year and then see his progression into a tall, confident seventh year. (There's even a verb now, "Longbottoming", that describes this transition.) Although Draco definitely has a redemption arc beginning in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince that makes him somewhat sympathetic (and also gives him that "tortured" quality that some people find attractive) I definitely think Neville ends up being hotter. I was personally really disappointed in how Harry turned out because in fourth year, I was really loving the long hair, but it all went downhill from there (stubble? growing horizontally instead of vertically? y'all feel me?). Anyway, sorry for my rant; I just wanted to add my candidate of choice. ;)
I don't know if y'all know this, but I read fanfiction (a lot). I find it fascinating to look at characters in different perspectives than the author originally did, and it allows me to read more. I must say that some are very difficult to read because of poor grammatical editing. I read a ridiculous amount. Anyway, I agree with Ryn, I think that they (both Rowling and the movie director) should have made Harry a more attractive character. I do think that Draco would have always been an attractive character, even if Harry was better, because there is that whole "bad boy" thing (that I personally don't get because why would you like someone that isn't nice to everyone?) and he still would have been blonde. I personally love that Neville became the most attractive because he is such a sweet person, so it is nice to know that attractive people can be good too (even if only in the fictional world).

I'm going to be honest, I never liked Harry, neither in the books or the movies. I don't really know why, something about his character just annoyed me. He didn't even know what wizards were, and then he was suddenly too big for his britches. I appreciate Draco's character more because he doesn't come from a good home life, which plays a HUGE part in why he is the way he is. Harry doesn't come from a good home life either, but at least he knows that his aunt and uncle don't love or appreciate him. They don't expect anything out of him either, and he also finds family within the Weasleys, so at least he has other people to turn to. Draco doesn't have anyone apart from his parents, who have very high expectations for him and won't accept less. His father is a Death Eater and expects his son to follow in his footsteps. His mother loves him, but she won't speak against his father, so she isn't able to help her son as much as she would like (she does have a redemption arc at the end of the last movie when she tells Voldemort that Harry is dead, even though he isn't, because she's worried for Draco). So, I think that Draco is attractive not just physically, but in the way that you want to help him because he's a tortured soul. Many girls like "bad boys" because they think that they're going to be the ones to change them and help them. I, on the other hand, am in love with the Weasley twins. I'm partial to George though, mostly because he's alive, and I prefer my men that way.
