Online School
The concept of online school is a fairly new idea. Personally, I think traditional school is better. And traditional school moving to online school just will not work in my opinion. I feel like academically I might end falling behind in certain classes when they become online. How about y'all?

I definitely think the transition will be a struggle, but I can’t say whether I’d prefer traditional school over online school because I haven’t tried it yet! I think the most we can do right now is hope for the best and take advantage of this “opportunity.” In college we’re gonna have a lot of free time and it’ll be quite the transition from high school and online school will prepare us for that as well as optimizing and managing our time which is definitely something I need to work on personally!!
I personally do not like the concept of online school at all. I feel that face to face learning helps in understanding the concepts that the teacher is trying to teach. I know due to our situation we have no choice in the matter and that me must go too online teaching. If feel it will be tough at first but after a couple days we'll flow into it
I completely agree with Andreas here. I think traditional school is better. I also agree that online school is going to be very hard for everyone to adjust to. I just have a feeling people will be very forgetful about assignments and it will be very difficult to communicate as well as we do in person. I also agree with Sara that this should help us with time management, which is a skill we all need to practice before going to college. Ultimately, I believe this will have good aspects and bad aspects, but we can't do anything about it! So, let's just make the best of it and be very hopeful that we will all return back to school healthy!
I have some personal experience with online classes in the past, as I took a dual enrollment class from UNO online over the summer a couple years back. Taking the class was very hard, because normally you sit through a lecture, take notes, then go home and study and do the homework for that class. However, with this online class, I would have to learn the material on my own and then do the homework, which made the whole experience much tougher. I hope that with our system of having the whole class on video chat, though, we can learn just as much as we did face-to-face and be equally prepared for our classes as before.
I think that online school will be a great opportunity for us to learn a little bit about what college is going to be like. it really is going to be incumbent upon all of us to stay up to date on our work and be responsible enough to show up to class on time and that's kind of what college is like. So while it's not going to be easy I think it's a good opportunity for all of us to learn self-discipline.
While it is a good way to prepare for the level of responsibility that comes with college. I think that it is ultimately a less effective learning method. Being at school puts us in an environment that we associate with learning, and thus we are mentally primed to absorb the information provided to us. I fear that if we are learning within our homes, places we associate with rest and relaxation, our ability to absorb and incorporate necessary information will suffer.
Personally, I feel that school is so much more than the classes we take. School is basically our whole social life. It is what we’ve become used to every day. An abrupt stop to that is of course going to be hard. For me, I definitely feel like life will be more boring. Going through the day on friday, knowing we’d be gone for a while, I became so much more appreciative of just being at school. On top of that we also have all of our extracurriculars. This whole online school thing stopped and possibly ended my baseball career. I believe that the collaboration between students and teachers will definitely be missed over our break. It’s sad I just learned to appreciate it though.
