I hope all is well

Hello everyone, I'd like to start off by saying that I hope all of your families are healthy and staying safe. If you have been having an experience at all similar to mine then you are probably very bored right now and realizing how much you miss school. I was wondering what everyone has been doing to occupy their new abundance of time?? I think it'd be nice if we all just shared how we've been doing and what we've been doing as a way of keeping up with each other and staying sane.

Hey Sophia! I hope everyone is keeping healthy, as well. I never thought that I would actually miss school so much! My parents have decided that I'm not really allowed to go anywhere, or see that many people. I am sure that some of your parents are doing something similar to that. So in my spare time I have started to clean. I cleaned my closets and rearranged my room at both my mother and father's house. The cleaning went surprisingly quick. We go on family walks, which is okay. At least I am going outside. I have just been trying to make sure that I am keeping up with school work. I have been doing a lot of Dr. Laskay's notes for Calc. I took a really long nap today. I usually don't nap. Thanks for asking!

Well Sophia I bought several house plants to brighten up my new home office. I completely rearranged the guest bedroom for my use. I've taken up origami because arts and crafts help time fly as much. I also try to do as much of my work so I still have time to read and tear into new shows on Netflix (any suggestions because I've exhausted my account). Also thank god for FaceTime because I'm not allowed to leave which is good because social distancing is very important during this point of the outbreak. Hope everyone stays healthy.

This is certainly a depressing time for all seniors around the world. I’m still trying to fathom the fact that our senior year was taken away from us and we have no control over it. As tough as this whole situation is, I think it’s important to try to find positivity, even in small forms. The second day of quarantine I spent 5 hours deep cleaning my room, closet, drawers and my desk. And it seems that many other people have decided to fill this time of boredom with just that as well! I think it’s great that this isolation period has brought so many people to try to get their life together by cleaning and organizing their home. I know whenever I really clean my space, I feel like I’ve been given a fresh start and honestly I think everyone could use one of those right now in this rough time!:)

Hi Sophia thanks for asking!!! I still have been trying to wrap my head around this so I really haven't done much, but currently I'm just trying to put myself in a better head space. I've been very negative about this whole thing and I think it's been stunting my growth during this wild transition. So that's my first goal and with that I am attempting to practice yoga. I also think this a great time to being more connected to my spiritual side because I've kinda been putting that off. I also started using Google Calendar along with my planner which are both LIFE SAVERS. I've been eating really unhealthy, but I hope to change this in the coming week. Oh, I only started drinking a glass of lemon water (it's supposed to be really good for you, I add honey to make the taste better). Also, this year I've been really distant with my family so I hope this forced time with them changes that haha (we just had a movie night-- progress!) Hope all is well.

This past week has definitely been an adjustment for me. I've found challenging to stay focused on my work and school tasks. However, I think I have started to get a hand on things, especially with a new studying technique I've been using which is to take frequent breaks rather than lengthy breaks. Also, aside from school work, I've been spending a lot of time cleaning my room, doing household chores, and trying to eat healthily.
