The Easter Monologue

I’ve been trying to memorize a monologue for Easter Sunday last minute. It is from the perspective of Mary, who finds out that Jesus has risen from his tomb. This lady at my church found this old monologue someone had written. I don’t think she reviewed it beforehand because it is simply horrendous. It changes from past to present every other sentence. In some places it’s just tone deaf. Jesus literally says “surprise” when Mary saw he was alive. Anyways, I had to rewrite about half of it. And I’m still trying to memorize it last minute.  :’)

So yeah that’s super fun.
