HSM

After pointing out the repetitiveness of Step Up I decided to point out the same thing in what has to be one of my favorite movie serieses. High School Musical. If you haven’t watched this movie then I don’t know what you did all of your childhood, but you honestly need to watch just one movie to get the plot because this series literally does not change a thing. Troy Bolton, basketball superstar, gets with Gabriella Montez, mathematical genius, and they sing. The pt it sthe same every single time: Troy has to choose between basketball or singing, and Gabriella is always the one who seems to remind him he can do both despite the fact she leaves him ever movie right when he needs her because she claims their relationship can’t work. Despite the fact that Disney remade the same movie three times, I can still watch the entire series without a second thought and feel all the same emotions i did when I first saw it. If you don’t watch it for the beautiful cast, then watch it for the great soundtrack, or the off screen romance between the two leads which truly enhance the romance in the movie, or just because it is a great movie.

Some movies are so good that it doesn’t matter that the plot sucks. High School Musical is one of them. Also, the songs are different by just as good for 1 and 2. I don’t remember 3 well.
