Hey Catherine! I have no idea if you'll like my music taste, but here's a shot. I really like listening to 80s rock, especially if I'm in a pump-up mood. I'm also so excited for the 80s dress-up day, not that I actually have any 80s clothes, but that's besides the point. I mostly listened to an Apple Music playlist that I didn't make called 80s rock essentials. My favorites from that playlist are Panama by Van Halen, Start Me Up by the Rolling Stones, I Love Rock 'N Roll by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, Rockin' In the Free World by Neil Young, Cum On Feel the Noize by Quiet Riot, Jump by Van Halen, Juke Box Hero by Foreigner, Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks, We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister, Invisible Touch by Genesis, and Let's Go Crazy by Prince & The Revolution. These songs are definitely more fast pace, good if you want to host a concert in the shower. I also like 80s pop (playlist on Apple Music just 80s pop and 80s Hits Essential). These songs are upbeat, too. Some from there are Down Under by Men at Work, Manic Monday by Prince, 867-5309/Jenny by Tommy Tutone, Raspberry Beret by Prince & The Revolution, and We Built This City by Starship. Looking back, I realize this is just a long list of songs that I have no idea if you'll like, but I hope so! If you want more relaxed music, I recommend 70s Soft Rock Essentials. That's what I listen to when I'm getting ready in the morning. Some of my favorites are Baby, I Love Your Way by Peter Frampton, Dream Weaver by Gary Wright, Give a Little Bit by Supertramp, More Than a Feeling by Boston, How Deep is Your Loe by Bee Gees, Dust in the Wind by Kansas, Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney, Say You'll be Mine by Christopher Cross, Summer Breeze by Seals & Crofts, Drift Away by Dobbie Gray, and Rikki Don't Lose That Number by Steely Dan. I hope some of these appeal to you. Some songs from this century that are in my "Late Night Drives" playlist that I got from Instagram are (which also have explicative my bad) are Don't Matter by Akon, Candy Paint by Post Malone, Differences by Ginuwine, Sunset Lover by Petit Biscuit, Lucid Dreams by Juice WRLD, Thinkin Bout You by Frank Ocean, Ruin My Life by Zara Larsson, Colors by Halsey, and Happier by Marshmello & Bastille. That's all I have for now! I'm thinking about finding a new playlist too, just since I feel like I know all these songs already and am getting a little bored. I love finding new music, especially from my parents' time so they can also relate. They love to tell people that I probably know more 80s music than them. I'm not so sure about that, but I definitely love it! Have a great weekend!
Hey Catherine! I'm so excited to share with you my favorite songs. My life seriously revolves around my music. I can't get anything done if I don't have some kind of music going on in the background. I love all types of genres, except for country (not Dolly Parton though, she is my everything.) But here's what I enjoy the most:
Borderline - Tame Impala
Killing Me Softly With His Song - Fugees
Any and all Fleetwood Mac, Adele, and SZA songs
Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon (Sorry for the title 😬)
I Love You So - The Walters (Catherine, this song sounds like you)
Love My Way - The Psychadelic Furs
Say It Ain't So - Weezer (Please don't roast me for liking Weezer. They make catchy songs, okay?)
Lovesong - The Cure

Oh! Sweet Nothing - The Velvet Underground
Oblivion - Grimes (I love her, but I hate how she is dating Elon Musk. I hate that man.)
Lost - Frank Ocean
Naive - The Kooks
