"It's Colombia, not Columbia"

So in my notes throughout the month of school we have had so far, I wrote down Columbia, Columbia, Columbia... but we weren't talking about Columbia!

Definition of COLUMBIA (by Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

1. River 1214 miles (1953 kilometers) SW Canada & NW United States rising in SE British Columbia & flowing S & W into the Pacific
2. City cen Missouri pop 108,500
3. City W cen South Carolina, its * pop 129,272
4. City cen Tennesse pop 34,681

This definition obviously proves my notes completely wrong. Columbia is not the same as Colombia.

There is a social media campaign to spread the knowledge.

 Its not "Columbia" you gringo... It's COLOMBIA PAPÁ

The campaign is lighthearted, but has a serious mission behind it- to use the spelling lesson as a door for people to reacquaint themselves with modern Colombia.
