Welcome!

This is your class website, not mine. Though you'll be required to post substantial comments here about literature, art & other ideas we discuss in class, you should also use this blog to study as a group, ask your classmates questions, gather your thoughts before writing a paper, etc. This is our community of ideas.

You should feel free to create a new thread or post; in fact, I expect it. I will often begin a discussion with a question for the class to ponder and then let y'all take over.

*VERY IMPORTANT*:
Your posts on this blog will be treated as if you have said them aloud in class. Cursing & unkindness will not be tolerated.

*RULES*:
You must post at least 3 relevant comments per week on this blog. Simply posting "I agree" or "What's for homework?" will not earn you participation points. If you "forget" to post 3 times within a week, you will lose points. If you "forget" for a few weeks, your grade in Humanities will be seriously impacted.
