Society's Perception of Paradise

Paradise is a weird word. The meaning of the word is completely subjective and reliant on the speaker and his/her experiences, mindset, etc. Any situation could be associated with paradise; it all just depends on who's talking. For this reason, I was intrigued to see that all the images on Google concur on a scene that describes the meaning of paradise: the beach. Like, nearly every single picture down to several pages.

From these images, one thing really sticks out to me: isolation. All of the scenes are empty, and a few even incorporate seats meant just for one person. This got me thinking that paradise is truly a personal experience. Because of its dependency of one's own experiences, paradise is determined solely by the person involved and is not reliant on anyone else. More importantly, paradise is a feeling/situation that is meant to be attained alone. Your version of paradise can't be determined by someone else because that person cannot understand your feelings and mindset like you do.
