Hindu

I really like the Hindu scripture we've learned. Hindu has always fascinated me. Its a very peaceful religion with a concrete way of reaching paradise when you die. I like that they have many gods but they are all a part of Brahman. They believe in the soul and reincarnation. However, I don't like that they let their religion define their caste system. I believe in full separation of Church and State, probably because I am American.

I think Hinduism is such a fascinating religion. The concepts of reincarnation and rebirth are significant. The poem talks about peace and optimism for the future which is also significant for karma.

The thing about Hinduism that I really like is that it accepts that different people have different skills. As such, there are multiple ways to achieve moksha. Since there are multiple ways to achieve the ultimate goal, Hinduism is followed in many different ways, and the idea of pluralism is very prevalent. Nonetheless, it's adherents are still united.

Another thing that I thought was very interesting was the syllable "da". "Da" was spoken by the creator god Prajapati when asked for wisdom. Three groups of people interpreted the syllable in three different ways. These three interpretations are now considered core values of Hinduism.
