Does Hamlet think incest is the best?

As we all know, incest is the best.  But does Hamlet think so? I would be mad too if my mom married my dad's murderer who is also my uncle. It is very strange that Hamlet is so interest in his mother's sex life. That's pretty gross. But he's REALLY mad about her incestuous relationship. Its all he talks about with her. He just keeps berating her and calling her a whore. He needs to calm down. Clearly, he does not think incest is the best.

But we also so that the reason Hamlet is attacking his mother's sexuality and delaying to kill Claudius is because he wanted to do what Cladudius did all along. According to the Oedipus Complex, sons want to kill their dad and bang their moms which Hamlet may or may not for into depending on your interpretation of the text. We also see Hamlet question Ophelia's sexuality and love life and we know for a fact that he is interested in her sexually so maybe he is doing the same thing towards his mom for that reason. Based on this, Hamlet may think that incest is indeed the best. However, it doesn't make it any less nasty.

It may also have to do with hamlets view on women's sexuality in general. He berated opheli for her sex life too, even though it can be assume that she had sex with him. Obviously, a woman's sexuality would be a very sensitive subject at the time, because her virginity was often tied to her virtue. However, hamlet has an unnecessary obsession

Honestly, Hamlet is probably only mean to his mother because of his one mission to avenge his father. If this wasn't the case, Hamlet would definitely have wanted to get all up in that

I think there's an interesting comparison between Oedipus and Hamlet. Hamlet is envious of Claudius for doing what he really wanted to do himself. I think Hamlet has great resentment for Claudius because of this.

I think we can all concluded that Hamlet does not think incest is the best. I think that the connection with the Oedipus complex is a little far fetched and there isn't really any textual evidence to support it. Hamlet is infuriated with the fact that his uncle married his mom and he makes several references as to how that is gross because it is incest.
