Interesting Tidbit
I found this interesting because of the overlap with environmental science and humanities. Did you know that the fall of Troy was in part due to environmental effects? As the city of Troy chopped down more and more trees to make room for farm land it increased soil erosion causing silt to pile up in the harbor. This lead to ships being unable to get into the harbor which crippled Troy economically. So, while the Greeks delivered the final blow to the Trojans, their damage to the environment started their slow decline!
