hahah I love this so much Julia! I think this is a great modern day refrence to Catullus's love poems. These poems are also some of my favorites! Who would have thought that Lesbia would have caused this much emotion from Catullus. These songs are perfect examples.

I think these songs are excellent examples of the same sort of emotion that Catullus feels in his poems. Clearly, the human fascination in the extremes of love has not changed in two thousand years.
