The Boy Who (Like Really) Lived

I LOVE crazy conspiracy theories. This is the first crazy conspiracy theory I've read about my most beloved series Harry Potter. This guy basically took Harry's prophecy and turned into something completely different. And it's really not even that farfetched. He essentially gave a whole new meaning to The Boy Who Lived.

Read it!

What do you other Potterheads think?

This is Megan, my account isn't working so I'm posting from Kincy's. I am a crazy potter head and really enjoyed this, Brooke. It really does make sense. Giving up death truly is a sacrifice for Harry because he'd have to give up ever being reunited with his family and friends in death. As we all know, Harry's number one desire is to be reuinited with his family.

Well, they were right. My mind was definitely blown. I remember reading the first few Harry Potter books when I was super young, but I was too immature to actually enjoy them. One of the things I'm looking forward to this summer is reading the books. Even though the movies were wonderful, I know the books are even better.

This is super postmodern because it has to do with the ambiguity of language. This guy's Beckett or Lacan or something. Think about it.

That just blew my mind; I would never think of something even remotely similar to that. I really liked Harry Potter, but I definitely didn't read it carefully enough to come up with something like that. I'm not sure I buy this, however; that does seem like a rather loose reading to me. I still find this interesting, though.

I've actually heard of this theory before! It's far-fetched, but would prove very interesting if true!

It would have been a total plot twist! I must admit that I hate not being able to predict the ending of a book, but I do love a good plot twist. I cannot watch Harry Potter. It scares me. I like the story line but I am too much of a baby to watch it.
