Where Would YOU be in Hell?

Here's the link to the Inferno quiz, which will place you in a circle of Dante's hell.

Second level.

... I'm convinced the rest of you lied on the quiz. "A pimp is a good thing to be"? Who wouldn't say "true" to that?

John - I agree with you 100%. I was on level 2, too, and I was thinking the exact same thing on the "a pimp is a good thing to be" part

We all seem to be higher in the levels that are more excepted by society so I guess we aren't all terrible people yay! EXCEPT FOR YOU EHREN!

Well I'm officially in the six level with the heretics in Dis. I must be a really awful person. There is no way y'all could have all been honest.... haha.

I did have a higher rating in the seventh level but it is not my highest grade.

I'm interested to see what put Taylor with the heretics, what do they mean by that?

second level, all of you who are in limbo just lied and now you need to redo the quiz to add that.I may be spinning in a whirlwind, but im honest!!!

Do you read your horoscope Taylor? Because that makes you a heretic. Don't read your horoscope.

And while you might be in level 6, homosexuals are condemned to the 7th level of hell. So according to Dante you might be a terrible person, but at least you're still better than a gay person. If that puts Dante's morals more into perspective for you.

(What I'm saying is that Dante's putting homosexuals in the same level as violent tyrants, assassins, and warmongers shows just how backward his categorization of hell is in some ways. So don't take this test too seriously.)

well yes, but back then homosexuality did not have anything productive in a utilitarian point of view. gay serfs gave no offspring for working and gay royalty did not get hiers. so they had no use for homosexuality. and assassians are awesome, they shouldnt be condemned

I'm in limbo, and I'm fairly surprised by it. I actually thought I wasn't a very good person... oh well. I suppose it is because I am a very boring person. I don't have much opportunity for sin, I guess, because... I have no life,

alright, i re-took the exam and ended up were i expected: i'm in the 6th Circle. i think it was only to be expected.

Well Dean, a homosexual serf was still a serf who could do work, and just because they're gay doesn't mean they can't reproduce. They may not like it, but it would still be physically possible. I think it's interesting how quickly gay love went from ideal to sinful.

7. and damned proud of it.

Joel and Dean -

I would say the question of whether a man can reproduce or not, unless he is the last man on earth, is mostly irrelevant to his worth to society. One man can have 15 children with 15 women - so if the problem is reproduction, one good man is really all you need.

I think one of the reasons homosexuality was so frowned upon was because it was seen as a "pagan" practice. The Greeks - while they were considered very innovative people - were also completely "unenlightened" about Jesus, as they lived before Jesus's time. Thus, their rampant homosexual practices were most likely seen as the ways of heathen cretins who hadn't experienced Christ's salvation.

El Paco said...

John I don't think that's right, either. I'm pretty sure that it was because homosexuality "wasted life." But anyway, how, exactly, did we get to this topic?

My results depend on if I feel like believing in God at the moment of the test. If I do, I'm in Limbo. If I don't, I'm in the 7th level. =X
