I believe it depends on the content of the tacos and the suppliers. At a restaurant I would most likely get some good steak soft tacos whihc would be delicious, but, if I were to go to T Bell I would get the Taco supreme which are hard tacos.

My choice of taco depends on the context and the ingredients involved.

i can't choose: sometimes i like a hard shell taco, other times i like a soft taco. it depends on the time and situation for me

chrunchwrap supreme just broke your logic. Where do you categorize that mr. taco man!

Aaron Nussdorf said...

i think that's a wrap; thus, it's not a taco

This is blowing my mind man,

nuzzy, you're backed up. The crunchwrap supreme is not so much a soft taco around a hard taco as it is simply a wrap. Sages, I think this calls for a TBELL FIELD TRIP!!!!!!!!! am I right?

TBELLL!!!!! Humanities field trip to to study the postmodernism shape of the TACO!

I don't think it's possible to make it to t-bell and back during lunch leave, now that lunch is shorter... though I could really go for some t-bell right now.

if you want to go on a field trip, we should go to REAL taco place

First of all, yes it is John- I do it all the time. Second of all, Nussdorf how dare you insult another fellow blogger in that sort of context. Taco bell = the perfect form and nothing you say will change my mind. Yes... we could go to a "real" taco place as you say (and I really hope you aren't referring to Chevy's in that) but could we get something on the 79, 89, 99 ayeyaeyae menu? I think not. case closed.

i love taco tico

but besides that...when people are talking about soft tacos...are they taking about soft tacos or really burritos...cuz there is a difference....i prefer hard tacos...but beef, bean, and cheese burritos are a category all their own

Anyone who confuses soft tacos and burritos is an egregious n00b, and should be pwnd.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that while it's nearly impossible to create a bad taco, soft tacos make more sense in their shape and form, and thus are more rewarding to eat.

For when you bite into a hard taco, you get either nothing but beef in your bite (if you bite at the bottom), or nothing but cheese, lettuce, and possibly sour cream (bite at the top). To enjoy a truly complete bite of a hard taco, you must in fact make two bites. And that, my friends, is cumbersome.

jp, i agree completely wik your statement. soft tacos are easier to consume and more authentic; i go for the old school.
