To Mrs. King,
How did you like mean girls? Mrs. Quinet, I know you aren't the biggest fan, but it has some redeeming qualities! In seventh grade the girls had to watch it; it was our intervention since the teachers thought we had a bullying problem. We learned that Kadie wouldn't win the math competition by making fun of the other mathlete girl.
It is the only movie that I can quote every line to. I hope you all liked it! (I know I sure do)

Hey, Kincy, I enjoyed watching the movie (in case you couldn't tell from my outbursts of laughter), but I had seen it several times before today, although the last time I watched it was years ago. I love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and I really like the movie. If we had time for another movie day, I would nominate Clueless (which is of course an adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, and a hilarious adaptation at that). :) I would be interested to hear what Ian and Joey thought since they had never seen it before.
And if you haven't seen it, you ALL need to watch Heathers, which is my generation's version, albeit a darker one, of Mean Girls with Winona Ryder, Christian Slater, Shannon Doherty et al. Put it on your list for this summer!
I love Heathers! It was recently made into an off-Broadway musical. While visiting NYC with Lee this spring break, we put seeing it at the top of our agenda and were not disappointed. From finish to end it was absolutely fantastic! They made sure to include fan-favorite lines like, "F me gently with a chainsaw." I definitely recommend anyone, fan of the movie or not, to see it if you get the chance!
I love Clueless! I finally saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. It's fantastic! I haven't seen Heathers yet, but I'll definitely make sure to watch it this summer!
When I first saw the Heathers all I could think was, "What the heck is this..?" That is still kind of my thoughts on it. But I LOVE Clueless. Cher was probably my idol from the ages of like 8 to 13 (she still pretty much is).
