So it turns out that Hamlet really does just occur in a few days. According to this timeline I found, the play starts on May 14th and ends on the 23rd. Don't really read into it though, since it tells you what happens.

I don't really get why the time span is that important, but it's interesting that it only happens in a few days. If it didn't happen in a few days though, it would make the play seem kind of odd in my opinion. But, if it happened in one day like the Greeek plays, it would probably feel too rushed
I agree with Parker. I think the time frame makes sense because in that situation, it wouldn't be realistic for all the events to have occured in one day or more than a week or two.
I think that the timespan is kind of unrealistic because during class on friday we talked about hamlet being attacked by pirates and escaping. I feel like this scene itself would probably take a few days. However i think this is just something that happens a lot in literature afterall Dante's journey was just a few days and it seemed pretty long.
Yeah, I definitely agree with Aly. I feel like the time is a bit rushed as in most literature.
The play actually takes only a few hours to perform, but if you read the actual play is tells you that it takes place over several months.
