I wanted to post a picture of Nietzsche on Samantha's post but it won't allow you to comment a picture. So this comment goes along with Samantha's post- I think that any one's mental health influences their writing. Nietzsche's philosophy most definitely could reflect his mental health and made an affect on the way he viewed the world.

i thought it was interesting that Nietzche slowly became insane, and his sister had to finish some of his works. Despite his encroaching insanity, Nietzche roused European's interests and elicited doubt in faith. Although some of his ideas may seem contradictory, since he said it's selfish to produce ideas and claim them to be true, I think nihilism is extremely interesting. I also think nihilism has helped shape the foundations of other religions.
