I had a no weapons fistfight in mind. Bludgeoning 4-year-olds with a sledgehammer sounds more like a game show contest than a compelling Humanities blog question warranting intellectual discussion.
Though I suppose it could be made interesting if the 4-year-olds are given weapons too.
I'm not going to lie... none. those things are intense and they are willing to do anything. Plus they aren't much smaller than me so it's not like I could sit on them or anything..
I was on a plane with a 4ish year old on Saturday. He bumped his head on something when he was getting off and started crying. As I witnessed this truly mesmerizing event, I realized that I could easily take 15 4 year olds in a fight. All you have to do is give each one of them a good slap in the face and they're done.
We definitely need to form an equation for this. I think that we need to take into account the difference between the ages, though. If I use the formula you provided for 18 year olds and 4 year olds, it would go something like this:
Since I can take 25 5-year-olds, I can take 5/18ths as many 18 year olds. Therefore, I can take 6.94444444444444444444444444 18-year-olds - and that's definitely not true. I can take at least 8 18-year-olds.
you would have to take exhaustion into account, because using the formula we have, you could take alot of 1 year olds. but im sure that you could take an infitie amount of 1 year olds if exhaustion was not in the formula

Well, I think personally I could take about 10 at once, or like 25 if they came in smaller waves.
I'd say 8. 10 might be a little much. I guess it really depends upon how angry the 4 year olds are, and if they're equipped with a weapon
i'd guess around 7...it would depend on the size of th 4 yearolds, their weapons and whether or not i had a weapon, too

Three? I'm fairly weak.

http://www.howmanyfiveyearoldscouldyoutakeinafight.com/ here you can find out how many u can in this detailed survey.
That's for five-year-olds though. We're talking about 4-year-olds
The survey said I could take 25 5-year-olds. I guess that means I could take about 28 4-year-olds
I would say you could probably take 5/4 as many 4-year-olds as 5-year-olds. That seems to make sense mathematically.
So, according to that formula, you could take... 31.25 4-year-olds.
4 year olds scare me

The qiz says i could take 20 5 year olds, seems about right
how about this
for the number of x year olds you can take in terms of y year olds, x=kx-(y-x), where k=the number of x year olds divided by the number of y year olds
you would have to take exhaustion into account, because using the formula we have, you could take alot of 1 year olds. but im sure that you could take an infitie amount of 1 year olds if exhaustion was not in the formula
no it's based on the website for 5 year olds. I should have mentioned that y=the number of 5-year-olds you can take based on the survey
that is a good equation andrew, we need mr marsalis on this though, it told me 28, but then again im a black belt so it increased it by alot
I'll ask Mr. Marsalis how many 4 year olds he could take in a fight in calculus today.
Oh, and Wise - your formula doesn't take into account that after around 25-30 years or so, you can take more people.
I could probably take on like twenty 90-year-olds. Even really tough ones, like war veterans.
