The old woman and Cacambo both...I agree completely. The old woman and Cacambo both make decisions based on deductions and lessons from their personal experiences. Things are scientifically proven by doing research, testing different things out, and seeing what works and what doesn't. Cacambo and the old woman remain within reason and rely on their personal "research" to determine their chosen courses of action throughout life.
